The plugin controls the appearance and behaviour of the search function directly within the shop.
All settings have an immediate effect on the user experience and can be adjusted at any time.

⚙️ Basic settings

Here you define the basic functionality of the search and suggestions:

• Show
  suggestions Enables the display of search suggestions as you type.
• Number of suggestions
  Sets the maximum number of suggestions displayed.
• Show
  category suggestions Adds relevant categories as suggestions to the search.
• Maximum number of category suggestions
  Determines the number of categories displayed.
• Show
  “Did you mean?” Displays alternative search suggestions for typos or unclear entries.
• Show
  inline autocomplete Completes search terms directly in the input field as you type.

These options help to make the search clearer, faster and more error-tolerant. 

???? Autocomplete display

Here you can control which information is visible within the suggestions:

• Show variant ID
• Show item ID
• Show price
• Show variant number

This allows you to display the suggestions in a minimal or detailed format, depending on your requirements.

???? Dev Settings

This section is intended for technical testing and advanced configuration.
It is generally only used in development or test environments.

???? API settings

The API credentials are automatically retrieved from thebackend.
Manual configuration is usually not required.

The combination of these settings determines how users experience the search function in the shop – from the first entry to the selection of a product.
All options can be controlled independently of one another and can be flexibly adjusted.
